ご挨拶
今回で30 回の記念開催となった「鹿児島デザインフェア・デザイン百覧会」
今年度は、コロナ禍の中、従来の参加者による会場開催は見送られ、YouTube
でのON LINE 投稿による期間内PR となりました。 ＊かごしまデザインフェア 2021 に随時UP 中です
例年、共催企画が開催されてきた経緯もあり、今年度は県民交流センターで＊鹿児島初の「映画祭」
にトライすることと致しました。
会場運営に関しましては、コロナ対策に万全の配慮を行う計画でおります。
ご趣旨ご理解の上、開催にご理解、ご協力いただきますこと、何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。
開催趣旨
ここ10 年来、鹿児島では「地元の物語を地元風景で撮影する」をテーマに、オロジナル脚本
による映画作品を多数実現してきました。その数は地方都市としては傑出しており、
報道などでも多く取り上げられています。
映像による地域観光振興を鹿児島県より委託される団体として『かごしまフィルムオフィス」
も設立（2011 年）され、県内自治体との協力により映画に限らず様々なメディアで国内外への
PR を続けています。
今般、「地元の物語を地元風景で撮影する」に加え、「海外の目線で地元物語、風景を撮影する」
視点を今後のテーマに掲げ、今回の映画祭が企画されました。
特に奄美群島など島嶼部は、島々により様々な自然景観、文化が色濃く残っており、海外の撮影
クルーからも注目を集める存在となっています。
この映画祭を機に、官民合わせ「かごしま力」を結集し、さらなる鹿児島の景観、文化の発信を
目指したいと考えております。

We are delighted to host the 30th Kagoshima Design Fair. This year, due to COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the conventional physical event and host a virtual event on YouTube over the duration of the event instead. We will keep our official website Kagoshima Design Fair 2021 updated.
In addition, as we have done the co-hosted events in the past, we have decided to host Kagoshima’s first Film Festival at Kagoshima Kenmin Koryu Centre.
We will take every possible measure against coronavirus for the preparation of the event. We appreciate your understanding and corporation.
Objective:
For the past decade, a number of original films have been produced in Kagoshima under the theme of "filming local stories in local landscapes". The number of such films is outstanding for a local city and this has been widely reported by the press.
The Kagoshima Film Office was established in 2011 as an organisation commissioned by Kagoshima Prefecture to promote regional tourism through films and the film office continues to promote Kagoshima both domestically and internationally through a variety of media outlets in cooperation with local authorities.
In addition to "filming local stories with local landscapes", this film festival has been planned with the theme of "filming local stories and landscapes from an international perspective" as an ongoing theme. In particular, Amami Islands and other islands have such a rich variety of natural scenery and culture, which are attracting many foreign film crews.
Taking the film festival as an opportunity, we are hoping to promote the beauty of Kagoshima as well as local culture even further with the help of both the public and private sectors.
